March 29th - The Presidential Salute and Newbie Re-Assessments

Workout:

Newbies Retest push-up, plank, squat, jump-rope assessments.  Then, jump into the salute for remaining time.

Presidential Salute – Vet reassessment

Red – 3 rounds:  900m run, 40 KB squats (40+, 35+), 20 push-up sit-outs, 50y broad jumps

White – 3 rounds:  900m run, 40 KB squats (30+, 25+), 20 push-up sit-outs (at least ½ on toes), 50y broad jumps

Blue – 3 rounds:  450m run, 30 KB squats (25+, 20+), 15 push-up sit-outs (may be done on knees), 25y broad jumps

Workout -

3 stations (12 min/station)

1. Heavy Ropes - 20/10 x 4 – 1 partner works the ropes, one partner alternates between side burpees, squat hold, and side plank touchdowns

·         4 rounds Big Waves

·         4 rounds small Waves

·         4 rounds OH grip Alt. Wave Walk-ins (see description below)
